You shouldnt have any problem getting a rebate from an expereinced agent on a $2M sale. I dont know any that would turn that down. The value of the the experience goes far beyond the paperwork and is most important in local knowledge.August 8, 2009 at 3:14 PM #442704sdrealtor

ParticipantI do believe you will find some sellers willing to accept a contingent offer. However your offer would be much stronger without the sale contingency. Still though, your agent should be able to help you find homes that have been on the market for a few months and those owners will be more receptive to a contingent offer.

We’re most interested in Olivenhain, RSF, The Crosby and The Ranch in Carlsbad. Do you work these areas? Is there a way to credit the rebate towards the purchase so that we don’t have to pay income tax on it?
