You can almost buy in Coronado at that ppsf. But, not at the high end. So, here’s my entry:

It’s a steal at $5500 a square foot.

Thats alot of money but its a great view on a large lot with a private beach. Its pretty clear you are paying for the lot (whatever that is worth) and not the house. Price per sf on something like that is irrelevant.

Here’s another one with wild pricing. Sold in Dec 09 for 477K, on the market now for 815K. The address is 1503 Dale St in South Park. The odd thing is, it’s really hard to find that original 477K sale recorded anywhere. I think the real estate agent deleted the history from Zillow. Actually, the price of 466 K (not 477K) is on Zillow, just had to scroll down. Whew that’s a huge price jump to 815K!
