Yeah I am not even considering it. I just thought the house was ridiculously awesome and felt the need to share it. I seriously doubt we will be in Placerville long term, it is more of an extended adventure than a new home. And the decision is far from exclusively mine. I’d like to say decision is a collaboration, but on where we live, I think the wife usually and properly has more pull.
Yeah, jstoesz, it’s ridiculously cheap (by coastal stds . . . lol). I’m just wondering how the commute back and forth to East Sac everyday is going to work out for you and your spouse. Are you aware that there could be several instances per year that US 50 could be closed below Placerville due snowstorms or inability to plow? How ya gonna get out??
Have you considered renting in Grass Valley for awhile? You might like it. I think you could find a rental there that is not on tract.

No my job is in cameron park and my wife’s is in el dorado hills. Both of our commutes should be ~15mins without traffic or severe weather. And if we are snowed in…I can think of no better excuse not to go to work. I miss snow days.

I see now. Was thinking of “Sacramento proper.”
