    I still find the dining analogy adequate. You can get the same dish for less money if you don’t tip, no? The same way you get the diapers for less if you shop at Walmart. Or you can get crappy food and fast track medical condition if you eat at fast food places, like you do if you feed yourself with the crap carried by Walmart.

    And no, the eggs and pies sold @ Ralph’s or Henry’s are not the same as the stuff sold @ Walmart.

    You must really have a hard-on for Walmart or something! The reason Walmart failed in Germany had nothing to do with IT systems, it was that Walmart did not fit culturally within the German society. They didn’t do their homework and it cost them. We have since gotten smarter and are in over 30 countries worldwide, sometimes not using the “Walmart” name.

The reason Walmart failed in Germany had nothing to do with IT systems, it was that Walmart did not fit culturally within the German society. They didn’t do their homework and it cost them. We have since gotten smarter and are in over 30 countries worldwide, sometimes not using the “Walmart” name.
