GuestThe only difference I can see is that the Democrats will increase your taxes to pay for poorly planned healthcare and “green” boondoggles, while the Republicans will increase your taxes to pay for poorly planned “homeland security” and bank bailout boondoggles. Take your pick.
Hmm. Inefficient but better healthcare and some energy improvements, or more fascist policestatism and money siphoned to undeserving rich?
I will definitely pick the first.
The idea that there is no difference between Democrats and Republicans is just Karl Rovian B.S. to bring Democrats down and suffer thanks to the recent GOP-instigated catastrophes.
And so is the idea that all the elections are rigged so there is no point voting. Yes they can be rigged but in modern times only by a few percent or so.

That’s all they need. They can get every election right at 50/50 through gerrymandering, media control, dirty tricks like caging and removing voting machines from poor areas — the machine rigging is rarely employed and only in critical locations (e.g. certain counties in Ohio 2004 and Florida 2000). Look at all the great candidates that started this campaign: John Edwards, Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul, Mike Gravel, etc… None of them have made it. The only two they will allow through are the controlled drones McCain and Clinton. Obama looks promising but they are gonna unleash the fear of the great redneck hordes to keep him out. I understand why people will vote for Clinton rather than McCain but I wouldn’t expect much to change one way or another– certainly not your tax burden or the level of “service” you receive from the federal government…

ParticipantIt really shows how for every action there is an equal and opposite REACTION. Everyone was spouting off that Ethanol will save us from an oil crisis but they never stopped to think of the implications it would cause in the worldwide food market.
Lots of people new what would happen. They were not listened to. Special interest trumped the common good once again. All three candidates want to triple ethanol use.
