What do you guys think about Consumer Credit Counseling?

I know of(but don’t know) a woman who for a fee helps people settle delinquent debt at a discount and get their FICO scores up. A client I once had was referred to her by the mortgage broker involved. This is for profit. Not someone piggs would probably need but it could be a good job for someone trying to help less savvy people who otherwise are not going to get out from under their financial problems.

That’s what I was kinda guessing. I’ve been sending out my resume all over the place and got a call from them in less than 24 hours for an interview. (I’m actually am a REAL counselor)I would love to work with clients on finacial issues and address the underlying drive to overspend, but it sounds like in this organization there really isn’t any room for that. I’ll proabaly still go on the interview, it’ll be good practice since I’m a little rusty.

That’s what I was kinda guessing. I’ve been sending out my resume all over the place and got a call from them in less than 24 hours for an interview. (I’m actually am a REAL counselor)I would love to work with clients on finacial issues and address the underlying drive to overspend, but it sounds like in this organization there really isn’t any room for that.
