Maybe, maybe nightmarish.
I’ve just spent about four months wraggling with a Uber-esque type service for maid service. Made the mistake of taking a groupon deal.
Flake central. The time lag is the problem. Scheduling was also a problem. The contractors were continually trying to shift the schedule or do something else, or two days before the appointment, cancel out, then the system attempts to rematch with someone else.
One giant PITA. Looks great on the service, like you would basically get matched up with a free lance house cleaner that sets their own rate and establish a schedule.
Just flake central.
The App seems well tuned to areas like San Francisco with high demand and Seller’s Market conditions.
Sellers have incentive for buyers not to have access to the other offers. It provides them with an information advantage. There’s no incentive here.
For a min I thought this thread was about driving uber to make extra money to afford a house
In Vegas, lyft has been running radio ads about making extra money to afford the good things in life. Apply to become drivers!
