The black peep of the family is too tame and would probably bother the neighbors or get eaten by one of the predators in the hood. There are a lot of Ravens and large hawks on rodent patrol who do not mind eating something that might taste like chicken. He does not want to be held, but he does land on your shoulder after flying around the room and is quite tame.
Your chickens would be environmentally friendly. Maybe you could petition for a small group of hens. It’s not like you are trying to keep them in a high rise. Didn’t you get a large lot there? I do not see what the big deal is. Large dogs leave a bigger mess than a medium sized chicken. As one of the red neck comedians questions, “What is this, Russia?”
P.S. Dharma, check your PM for an update.

September 3, 2008 at 5:03 AM #265168Nor-LA-SD-guyParticipantI was the Guy Comparing Temecula to Valencia,
They are very very similar, but I would say 10 years from now Temecula will have even more Industry mainly due to the Airport, and they already have a good start in BioTech in the area.On a side note, was down at the Costco in Carlsbad.
They were Literally being cleaned out of 52″ Plasma TV’s. Had to park at the back of the lot and did some Struggling just to park there. At the registers were 4 – 5 deep fully loaded carts for the most part.
And they say that this is a recession ???
Weird I tell you.

“My guess is the mass amounts of foreclosures will be picked up very soon due to money being quite cheap”
Yea I am starting to think there has been very few voluntary home sales probably for the last 6 months at least, at some point all or most all the good foreclosures will be picked up (although this may be awhile yet), then you will actually have to pay someone enough to make them want to sell to you (I know a weird concept on this board). At that point I think there could be a sizable spike in average price in the T.V. area (say 50 – 75K, just a guess)
