Aecetia: Give him to me. I’d be more than happy to put the million bucks Uncle Sugar sunk into training my happy ass to good use.It would take him about three days to die, but he’d have plenty of time to commune with Allah beforehand.
As to torturing him, what’s the point. That’s solely used to send a message and as personally enjoyable as it would be to go after him with a metro phone book, a blowtorch and a pair of Craftsman pliers, it wouldn’t serve the greater good.
November 10, 2009 at 9:01 AM #480025BGinRBParticipant
Russ: Such as flying commercial airliners into skyscrapers filled with innocent civilians?
Or sending suicide bombers into crowded areas the world over (Tel Aviv, Bali, London), also filled with innocents?
Or massacring a team of athletes during the Olympic games, an event designed to spread peace and goodwill (Munich, 1972).
Violence does beget violence, no doubt about it. But, as the old saying goes: You don’t try and reason with a mad dog.

The military, specifically the Army and Marines, have done a shit poor job in dealing with Post Traumatic Stress and suicide, especially amongst those with multiple deployments and their SOF forces.
It is improving and, sadly, the CO of Ft. Hood was one of those commanders that was doing good work with programs designed to ease and aid combat stress.
These events are morale killers, but this one was worse, due to the blowback that Muslim soldiers will undoubtedly face following this.
