Some questions about Stonebridge

What do you guys think the prices will look like fall/winter 2012 in Stonebridge? We are trying to save enough money to buy a larger home under $850K. We can only afford a loan for $417K and the tax and mello roos for a purchase of $850K. It will take us 2-3 years until we have the down for that the type of purchase. Will we still be able to buy their for under $850K or is the market going to be up by then? We do not want Astoria or Mills Creek.

looks like quite a number of piggs are watching Stonebridge. The lower end of Stonebridge, namely those closer to Pomerado, is showing downward trend and I suspect more will come, considering the crazy price they paid in peak years. Even if the price shows some sign of recovery, many will jump on the selling wagon and eventually keep the price flat. My question is the high end market, such as Sanctuary, Warmington (what happened to Deprise Cove, heard of many NODs filed zillions of years ago and yet only one changed owner so far???) and Scripps preserve. What kind of price can we expect this fall/winter and next spring/summer? Serenity is selling and Montoro is selling fast. Many know these two have inferior quality and builder cut corners as much as they can, but with their aggressive pricing, some seems don’t care! Anybody has some insights regarding new and resales in hign end Stonebridge? How low can we see the price go?

I feel the market out here will stay flat or drop more. I believe the homes that were just completed by ColRich have seen a price reduction. I think at your price point you will be able to purchase a really nice home. Of course other economic factors will affect the price.

My wife and I really like what all your neighbors have done with their landscaping. The whole Davidson neighborhood is fantastic. My wife likes the house with the with the big fish on the wall and the bamboo sticks in the large vase.
