Possibly, Scarlett, but will it be inventory you want? From what I’m seeing, much of the inventory they have been holding back in the shadows in my neck of the woods are SFRs encumbered with 25+ years of Mello-Roos bonds and also HOAs. The majority of it is attached condos/townhomes, some encumbered by more than one HOA.
Of course, I’m probably giving them way too much credit here, but wouldn’t the REO lenders have already foreclosed on and unloaded the most “salable” properties they had an interest in??
