flu, you forgot to add on top of that the HOA dues (on an SFR) of $425 month!!

If you can afford a $2M+ house, should $425/month HOA be that big of a deal? Considering that it’s paid for Cable/tv Services,common Area Maintenance,gated Community,trash Pickup. Just the gated community alone, I’ve seen HOA around $120/month mark. Add in the common area maintenance, which seems to be a lot of common area.
