Still very mpressive. Lots of hills. Especially compared to people who drive to the mailbox and let their car idle while they check mail.

next time, temecula to downtown SD and back
May 24, 2018 at 2:57 PM #810110FlyerInHiGuestThat is 65 miles, 1 way.
I don’t mind pedaling slowly, but I hate hills. Need electric bicycle.May 24, 2018 at 4:53 PM #810111barnaby33ParticipantIf we are talking trails, the Bayshore bike way is pretty spectacular in central SD. It’s not 100% bike path but over half is and no major highways required. I often ride from Mission Valley to Border Field State park as well.
I just did my first century from Irvine Amtrak to the border 7 weeks ago.

February 21, 2019 at 11:07 AM #811871FlyerInHiGuestI hope the invisible hand of the free market works out for the rural folks. I know they have the grit and determination to succeed.
While metropolitan America surges forward, rural areas continue to be riven by an onslaught of demographic decline, loss of manufacturing jobs, rising poverty, opioid abuse, blight, insufficient capital, anemic investment, poor infrastructure and an abysmally low participation rate in the global digital economy.
March 4, 2019 at 7:08 PM #811960FlyerInHiGuestFinally, the city of San Diego is allowing development without parking. About time.
