Rental sources?

I am looking to maybe move to a new rental house (garage needed). Looking at the central areas like Hillcrest, Mission Hills, etc. What are the best sources besides Craigslist for finding places? If anyone knows of a property let me know!

Is Craigslist not a good source? I looked at it and it seems practical and also seems to have a lot of listings. Please list the negatives about Craigslist and persuade me to expand my search options.

Some sites: I’m sure you know about Signonsandiego (web version of the U-T) and/or sdrentals.com (used to be really good, not so sure since they’ve been bought by westside rentals).

There are also various other small property management companies that specialize in managing SFRs for individual homeowners:
renthomes.com, utopiamanagement.com, sdppm.com, cal-prop.com
There may be more that specialize in the areas you are looking.
