luchabee, thanks for bring back this one for two reasons. Firstly, one of my favorite all time posts that I’m most proud of is on page two. I remembered it vaugely, but after re-reading my community analysis based on breast implant ratios, I think that may be the theme of my next book.
Secondly, paramount’s prediction may have seemed far fetched at the time, in fact I remember bear made some as well, I thought they both were crazy. The market has overshot their predictions about 30% thus far, exactly a year later.

January 21, 2009 at 10:39 PM #332860temeculaguyParticipantocrenter, and that’s list price. You’ll never find mine (actually you might because you are that good, but this isn’t a challenge so don’t take it) because the tax roll is wrong on the sq ft due to an optional room that somehow didn’t record when it was built and I’m not changing it. But I paid $83 a square in morgan, it’s worse than he predicted. 300k has been beaten as well, many times.

January 21, 2009 at 11:00 PM #332880RB132ParticipantI just had a chance to visit temecula.
It is clean, new, and with all of the available shopping. In term of houses, not about weather or restrurants or colleges, it is much, much better than Boston, Brox, Phily, LA, not to mention New Haven. It is a great place for retirees who don’t want to pay $4000 monthly mortgage.
The houses are not as good as 4S or LJ, but much better than new houses in connecticut or other states, except the lots are smaller, but bigger than 4S.

went back some more to read more predictions from paramount… national calamity is here… think Morgan Hills will hit $75/sqft? but seriously, at this point it really doesn’t make a difference for my friend that paid $180/sqft in 2006.
“THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN, it will NEVER be $75 psf in Morgan Hill, barring some national calamity.”
