At one point I saw Condos going for 30-50K in Vegas during last downturn (almost got one),
chickened out, seemed too far to use much.
I would not expect to get that price again, but Flyer would probably know better. Too many boomers I know want to grab one.
Vegas uses Fed minimum wage I think, so low end is really loooow.

Nevada’s UI benefit is $407/wk (maximum) + $600 federal benefits. That’s $1007/wk… How can people not afford the rent?
Seems more like shysters trying to get a free lunch. ….Vegas style.

Of course they are. When their UI benefits are paying them more than when they worked, people have both money and free time for more home improvement and car projects. Just like me…. heh heh.

That’s a very good question. I will think about it and answer later.
A lot of stuff is in my head. I would just know a good deal when I see it.That’s an excellent question that requires me to anticipate the bottom, define decent place and decent area.
Would you like a mid-century house close to everything, that you can restore like a beautiful one in Palm Springs? Perfect for retirement or vacation. Or do you want the best suburban school district?
Scaredy, I think you will be happy at the Las Vegas country club. There are lots of old Jewish people there. How about a luxury high rise?
