As it stands I’ve asked BGIG the question at least two times. I’ll ask it again Mr Troll..ahem…BGIG…What does AB 32 do that rewards the person/entity that makes the cheap green thneed?
What are you asking?
4th time. What does AB 32 do that encourages the development green energy that is cheaper than fossil fuels?
Are you going to answer this direct and simple question or do I have to ask ten times?
And BTW the comment about Huffington is not getting your goat…..honestly….quoting Ariana Huffington is indeed laughable. AND before you mention Rush…ect…yes they are laughable too..as I had mentioned.

October 17, 2010 at 9:27 PM #619247Allan from FallbrookParticipantBigGubment: So, in the interests of fairness, I did some checking as to who the 50 largest employers in California are. Link: http://www.acinet.org/acinet/oview6.asp?printer=&next=oview6&id=&nodeid=12&stfips=06&group=1
Guess what? In the Energy sector, Chevron IS the largest employer in California. Imagine that, huh?
Also interesting is the complete absence of any green energy companies in the Top 50. Now, you’d think if there were indeed 500k green energy jobs in California, that there’d be at least one green energy company in the Top 50. After all, Chevron employs roughly 6,000 people and made the list. And, as you yourself pointed out, that 500k number absolutely DWARFS that of Big Oil employment here in the Golden State.
So… Where are they? The companies and the employees that you purport are employed in this endeavor. 500,000 is a big number, even for a state the size of California. I mean, if we did indeed have numbers of that sort in that industry, you’d think everyone from the governor to the Prez would be crowing about it. Right?

OK, we’ve talked this issue to death. But seeing this on the bottom of the “Active forum topics”, I think we should give BigGovernmentIsGood one more chance to respond to the flood of empirical data contradicting him.
