There aren’t 500K “green energy jobs” in California. How many people do you know who have one?
That 500,000 number came from the Employment Development Department-Labor Market Information Division.
So you’ve looked around at the people you know, determined that none of them have green energy jobs, and have decided that the 500K number can’t be accurate? You do realize that 500K is only 1% of the population of California, right? So you can know a lot of people and not know anyone with a green energy job. I continue to be unimpressed with the pro-prop-23 crowd’s inept attempts at using logic.

October 17, 2010 at 11:56 AM #619052sreebParticipantThe population isn’t 50M yet and most of the population doesn’t have a job.
There are about 14M private non farm jobs in CA which makes it closer to 4%. I continue to believe the 500K number is self serving crap.
