good post TG, but I think some of those things you said to ignore are things some people find important.

If a woman was divorced, you can contribute it to being a romantic and jumping into marriage looking for “the one”, I wouldn’t hold that against her.

If she had kids, I couldn’t date her, I can’t be that guy. If I was looking just for fun yes, but if I was looking for a real mate, no way. The girl could be awesome, the girl of my dreams, but children are too much of a game changer for me. I guess if the father was a one night stand and not in the picture at all I could consider it, but even then I would really have to like the girl.

If she has bad credit, eh.. it depends, if she is awesome, and she works on it during the relationship and I can educate her on budgets and she changes, then yes. I wouldn’t just write a person off though.

My wife is a financial analyst, she could have just told me to screw off because I used to have a decent amount of debt. Good credit, but some debt. She made a bet for me to get rid of my debt by a date and if I did I would get a *cough* reward *cough*

Needless to say, I got rid of all my debt within that time frame and now I’m a scrooge. She thinks I’m too tight now even. When I look back at it that little bet probably taught her a lot about me, that I cared about her perception of me enough that I changed and that I truly love rewards 🙂

Like I said, get a dog, I am married, take my dog to the dog park, and the girls come up to me asking about my dog all the time. I have long conversations with women and never even start the conversation. I have been asked many times if I am married.

Running clubs are the same, find something you enjoy and join a club, if you really like that activity you already found someone that has something you really enjoy doing in common. From there you just find out the other stuff.
