The incentive is now $15K. So I guess prices have increased, uh? Could be because I’ve been visiting there like a hundred times. They must think there’s lots of traffic.

I went by the Pienza office this afternoon and found out that 5 out of 7 of the lots they released yesterday are SOLD??? How can that be? Sold in ONE day??? I thought the market is supposed to be slowing down? I am looking forward to falling prices! Who are these people buying?
It is also interesting that all the lots left for sale are the 2901 floor plans…

I think people who are buying are those that have jobs and most likely have a current home to sell for a downpayment.
As for their plan 1, I think they need to price them under $700K if they want to seem them move. I think they haven’t dared to do that yet. Must be some kind of psychological threshold.

Just commenting on this specific situation: If these sold all in 1 day. I can’t imagine prices coming down anymore anytime soon. You’d be lucky if they didn’t go up.
