Y2K, terrorism, etc… It’s easier to control people when they live in fear — fear of the flu, fear of terrorism, fear of immigrants…
Interesting that the government doesn’t want people to fear buying a house or spending money.
We really need to put things in perspective, accept and live with everyday risks.
