What are Piggs thoughts? Are the opinions and assessments correct?
Has anyone lived in any of these places?
What are some of the other tropical/Caribbean places that would compare to these, with fairly ideal standards of living?

A family friend moved from Florida to Belize to start resort/sport business (cashed out during the peak and his Florida house and properties all went to foreclosure). Got married to a local girl and happily living in down there.
Costa Rica is nice.
But Latin America is not cheap anymore. You could buy a beach house in the Deep South of the US for less.
