Yuk !!!
That is mostly why I don’t eat at fast food places, Once a week or so we go out to a sit down place but even then I am uneasy sometime and really take a good look at the food before I eat it.
You can get tuna and bread for about four bucks (or something similar) and feed two at almost any grocery store. pick up a healthy drink and your set. Much cheaper and healthier than the fast food joint.
And it’s tax free !!! these days that’s about 9% or so.
I have almost stopped buying anything that I have to pay sales tax on, I hope I am the only one, we need someone to pay for all these state employees.

ParticipantI very much prefer some kind of low-carb but haven’t been doing it. Kicking myself because I feel so much better.
Ocrenter I honestly think body types play a role. There really is a certain type of person prone to belly fat and for whatever reason these folks can do well lo-carbing.
There are pretty sensible ones out there that are more moderated. TNT I think it is says if you want a sandwich at lunch have one but make that the only bread serving. One piece of fruit in a day, and maybe a whole grain rice with dinner.
In any case I, like Allen feel like a train wreck if I have a big thing of pasta or pizza. Dead tired, no energy. Give me a week or so of lo-carb I have some pep in my step. I feel much more like the 40 minute walk.
