He probably owns shares in the movie. Why else would be give the publicity …unless he’s a goof. He’s the bane of my life that man, and I won’t be in any rush to see this movie.
July 20, 2012 at 7:35 AM #748513desmondParticipantWhat a coward this guy was in Colorado. Not much else that I can say matters on this.
July 20, 2012 at 9:30 AM #748526briansd1GuestLooks like there’s San Diego connection to the gunman

And in related you can’t make this shit up news:
New York City Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said: “It clearly looks like a deranged individual. He has his hair painted red. He said he was the Joker, obviously the enemy of Batman.”
Thankfully, he is also in custody. NYC Police Commissioner confirms, his friends in Gotham City are safe tonight.
July 20, 2012 at 6:09 PM #748596spdrunParticipantPoor taste on Mr. Kelly’s part to make light of this and use it to grab the spotlight.
July 20, 2012 at 7:32 PM #748600svelteParticipantlol. gotta joke about it, cuz it is just too sad and depressing otherwise.
And a local boy! Westview High School grad with a UC neuroscience degree no less! Weirdos lurk everywhere I tell ya. Upscale school districts and suburban tract homes offer no protection at all.
July 20, 2012 at 8:02 PM #748603scaredyclassicParticipantnetflix down 1.56% today. i sort of thought this might give netflix a boost.
i hate going to the movies for a reason separate than getting shot. I cannot bear to pay the entry price.
also, i need to pause and chat.
July 20, 2012 at 8:03 PM #748604HobieParticipantPrick was a coward. Should have shot himself.. Only upside, I hope they put him in general population…
July 20, 2012 at 11:30 PM #748619EssbeeParticipantThe name of the street where his parents live was mentioned in some of the local coverage. I google mapped it, then did street view and easily found the house as pictured all over the media today.
On google maps street view, you can see a white sporty car parked in front of the house on the street. Googled for pics of the shooter’s car from today… yup, same car! Pic taken in Feb 2011. It was kinda creepy to see.
Google maps shows so much. I can actually make out the license plate numbers for his car and his one of his parents’ cars.

I think Colorado (at least theoretically) still has the chair. As much as I dislike the death penalty, a death sentence in this case wouldn’t make me too upset.
