I shop at goodwill. (As well as traditional places.)
For those that need an excuse other than frugality – it’s “greener” – the “reuse” part of reduce-reuse-recycle.
Great place to get otherwise pricey items like table linens, housewares, and, yes, chinos. (My older son’s school has a dress code that requires khaki’s.)
With 3 kids (3,3, and 5) we end up getting a lot of stuff through the mommy network and through freecycle.com. My wife has also gotten me a lot of polo shirts, dress shirts and pants the same way. I still need to buy most of my work clothes through a regular store but it sure is nice to save the money and be able to re-use the clothes.
Oh, and they are also broken in and soft/comfy 😉
Lol. I got you guys beat….
If I rip a pair of pants on the kneecap, I cut them legs off and they become my work/gardening shorts.
My old socks make great polishing pads..
I hate buying clothes.
I think I have 2 suits……And it’s the same suit for the past 10+ years…
FLU… Just damn cheap….
Goodwill industries or thrift stores in general.
I read somewhere that goodwill is somewhat of a scam and not really about charity.
We can’t have everyone going thrifty, otherwise the economy will go in the dumps. Spend, spend, spend.
Nice clothes though.

Screw the economy. Another crash == another opportunity.
AmVets has the best stuff, in my experience.
