I think the problem is that around drains and fixtures, they don’t remove them when they do the coating. And so,as a result, I don’t think the coating will last around the drain/fixtures, and usually they start pealing from there…At least that’s what I observed….If I recall, the resurfacing isn’t that cheap either.
I’ve only done tubs and not the tile up the wall, but it has always worked well. Less than $300 and no complaints, but don’t know about services in your area.
