No sure how the social conservatives can support Palin when that family represents the vices of America, namely sex and alcohol.

[/quote]I am not a Palin fan. But Please enlighten me, what did she do again? I understand her 17 year old daughter did something stupid, and changed her life forever. But again I ask, what did Governor Palin do again?
Are we really holding people personally responsible for their 17 year old kids actions now? Cause there would be alot of parents going to jail if we did that.

ParticipantIn my book, parents are accountable for the actions of their minor children.
Where is the shame? Where are the “traditional” family values? Shouldn’t Bristol be sent off to a convent some place so she can reflect on her sins and repent?
Like I said before, if vices and lax moral behavior occur no matter what because humans will be humans; then what’s the point of voting for social conservatives.
We might as well vote social liberal, air out all our dirty laundry and enjoy our weaknesses. Isn’t that what the Palin family is doing?
Why hide behind a Victorian facade of propriety and pretend upstanding family values?

Participant“On the pinhead front, 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant. The sister of Britney says she is shocked. I bet.
Now most teens are pinheads in some ways. But here the blame falls primarily on the parents of the girl, who obviously have little control over her or even over Britney Spears. Look at the way she behaves.”The blame falls on the parents?
