That’s not crazy I will show you crazy,
I just bought QID (also in IRA, it’s the only way to trade!!).
now that’s crazy, Somehow I know I am just going to get steam rolled on that one.
Yeah, you’re pretty much screwed on that one, because I have that one and SDS too.. 🙂
I’ll tell you what, I’ll let you know when I’m out, and then you’ll be fine.
I don’t know why I’m gambling again in this stupid machine.
I guess I have a serious complex of “no enginerd gets left behind” syndrome.

EAT SH!#$!@$#%$#%T…. :-D
QCOM crossed 60 today. Last time QCOM was 60 was in March-2000!
February 2, 2012 at 11:30 PM #737295paramountParticipantPersonally I don’t get it (the whole facebook thing), but what if facebook shoots up like google?
Who cares if it doesn’t make sense or it’s irrational, if one can make money.
So what if facebook pays over 200 million for someone to spray paint graffiti in their offices…

Yep, I was hoping for 63+ (which it reaches in after hour yesterday). Too bad it couldn’t get there in regular trading today. Hopefully tomorrow. The volume was HUGE today though. It almost hit 60 2 times in the past year. Every time it got close, Europe came out with some kind of news and bring it back down to high 40s/low 50s :-/. Hopefully Europe stay quiet for a few more months :-D.February 3, 2012 at 6:48 AM #737307The-ShovelerParticipant

That’s not crazy I will show you crazy,

No worries….I’m using these as a mini-hedge in case the market does tank. But I don’t think we will see that.. Looks like people have the stock market fever again with these .com ipos…. Look at finance.yahoo.com top headlines. IPO IPO IPO/facebook/facebook/facebook… Media and the banks are going to pump this thing up so ridiculously high…None of these stocks (Zynga included is ever going to trade at fundamentals)….
Just consider this..
Zynga at close to a 10billion valuation????
linkedIn at close to 8billion????Enjoy the ride up…..
February 3, 2012 at 11:53 AM #737319anParticipant
Correction. My zynga order executed at 10.91, not 10.80… Oh well….
Congrats on jumping in to ZNGA. 13.51 now. 24% in two days, not too shabby. Did you bet the farm on it? 😀February 8, 2012 at 12:44 PM #737560CoronitaParticipant

Correction. My zynga order executed at 10.91, not 10.80… Oh well….
Congrats on jumping in to ZNGA. 13.51 now. 24% in two days, not too shabby. Did you bet the farm on it? :D
Ok. I’ve left half my position today. 13.62..
I decided to take my profits and buy another .com company’s stock that reports today… Groupon @ 24.43900
🙂
I have a stoploss order on it already @ -15%.
Oh boy, this is either going to get really pretty or really ugly really fast….
heh heh,, ain’t gambling fun?
And no, I’, not betting the farm on them. But hopefully doing better than I was betting on the Patriots. Statistically, since NY won, the stock market should do well this year….that is if you believe in all this pattern sh!t.
February 8, 2012 at 12:53 PM #737565AnonymousGuestDude, why don’t you just come up to Pechanga?
Your odds are probably better and you get free drinks.

At least it’s only down 10% in AH. Haven’t hit your stop loss yet.February 8, 2012 at 1:43 PM #737573CoronitaParticipant

I decided to take my profits and buy another .com company’s stock that reports today… Groupon @ 24.43900

You know, I’m actually pretty happy about this… I would have been pissed if it actually went up 20-25%.. Because shit companies like this shouldn’t. So i think it was a win win for me… If I don’t buy, it would go up 20-25%. if I do buy, I sink the stock back to it’s fundamentals.. Heh heh…February 8, 2012 at 2:07 PM #737577anParticipant
Lol… Now it’s only down 5%…. Ain’t life grand?
Yikes, down >13% now. Did your stop loss hit?
Edit. Misstyped and said 23.
Nope. I cancelled it. Sold it at 22.60… I need to find a brokerage that where I can short it now…. Schwab doesn’t let me because it came get the shares.
Actually, good and till cancel orders don’t apply to AH trading…
February 8, 2012 at 2:12 PM #737580anParticipantCan’t you buy puts and achieve similar thing?
I never knew GTC doesn’t apply to AH. Good to know. Good job in getting out with very little loss.
