…That and I’m in on sds, shorting PM at 84.50 and shorting Qcom at $63.
Hope you covered your qcom shorts at 61.March 8, 2012 at 11:43 AM #739575The-ShovelerParticipantI think the only thing to derailed the market (and economy) at this point is a black swan type of event,
(Which is a possibility I happen to believe the market is not taking into account currently, so any reaction is likely to be VOLATILE ).March 8, 2012 at 12:35 PM #739579CoronitaParticipant

Hope you covered your qcom shorts at 61.
Nope…. QC is range bought between $60 and 63 ish (at least for now)
March 13, 2012 at 1:18 PM #739841The-ShovelerParticipantLooking like 2000 all over again to me, but what the heck do I know,
Getting kind of frustrating sitting on the side lines. And losing a small amount in QID (100 shares)
Makes me wonder if we will see the same thing happen as in 2000, where all of a sudden at the end of march everyone decides , Hey what the heck are we doing owning all these internet stocks!!!.Or maybe Marc Faber was right, all that money they are printing has to go somewhere.

Ouch, almost hit $65 today.March 13, 2012 at 4:15 PM #739899enron_by_the_seaParticipantVIX is 14.80 today. Long term put options are cheap. I ended up buying deeply OOM 2014-puts on CRM and CMG (small positions.) I am seriously thinking about loading up on more 2014 puts.
March 13, 2012 at 5:56 PM #739911The-ShovelerParticipantYea I wish I had done that in 2000 (OOM puts)
I would be living next to FLU or earlyretirement.
Tempted to do some real damage to my Trading IRA account and buy some tvix, not sure I could buy a “put” if I wanted to in my IRA.
How much less volatile can it get ?
Just kidding.March 14, 2012 at 7:14 AM #739926CoronitaParticipant

Also added to both BRCM and ARMH.
Fvcker… Can’t beat them, join them…BTW: markmax33 might actually be right about zygna….What caught my eyes was zygna launched a gaming platform for developers. And they got some of the big label game co’s signed up to develop on it… That’s a big deal…So I’ll swallow my pride and say markmax33 might actually be right….
March 14, 2012 at 7:28 AM #739927The-ShovelerParticipantSaw something saying that 80% of stocks are above their 40 day moving average as of yesterday.
Looks like a circa 2000 blow off to me.
But then again Marc may be right as well, (don’t jump in front of a running printing press.)March 14, 2012 at 8:40 AM #739933CoronitaParticipantNasdaq just turned negative…
Back in short position with Qcom @ 64.98 3000shrsLol…. I have a stop order if it goes above 66

The problem with Zynga is no one, including their customers, actually *likes* Zynga. Their “games” are just terrible. Solitaire involves more thought and strategy than most of their “click and your number goes up!” “games”.Zynga *is* profitable. They pioneered the concept of microtransactions for virtual goods. They clearly spend very little money on developing and testing their “games”.
I’m biased because I truly, truly hate their product, but it’s hard to see how they are going to grow as a business.

Less tech companies that deal with smartphones and oil/gas companies, I’ve been exiting part of my index funds and stocks for the past 2 weeks….I’m not going to exist completely, but I’m going to keep about 30% out of the stock market for now..
*Edit: I’m out of Qcom @ 65.02…
