January 27, 2012 at 11:46 AM #736850anParticipantSINA is not new. They’ve been publicly traded since 2001. They’re more of a Yahoo than a Twitter. Although, SINA, SOHU, BIDU all have live “tweet” feed, so you can kinda say they have some Twitter in them.

Yeah, I know. When you have interns at google get paid more than some full time people in san diego, you know things are kinda wacked. 🙁
January 27, 2012 at 12:32 PM #736852CoronitaParticipantdelete.

Maybe those interns are much more productive and write much better code than those full timer :-D. Just in case it doesn’t come across… /sarcasm.February 1, 2012 at 6:50 AM #737127CoronitaParticipantBump… Ok folks, it’s gonna happen supposedly today….Anyone wanna guess what the valuation is going to be?

The only thing suckier than watching your stock/stock options in either of the bellweathers goes up is a constant reminder that some director/vp/etc always has more shares than you and will out-gun if there really is a good deal.

You and me both. I have my eyes on a few Del Mar houses if it ever hit 50% :-D.February 2, 2012 at 7:04 AM #737230CoronitaParticipantWell, I did it…
I tried to rationalize every reason why not to buy shares in Zynga….And then I did completely the opposite. 🙂10.80/share…
Now I will get the satisfaction of either
1) Watching the bubble inflate this timeor
2) Proving how wrong mm33 is on his stock picks, by tanking his portfolio now that I’m in it. Because obviously, whatever I’m in, will eventually tank. Just kidding there… Sort of…
And to make it interesting, these shares are purchased in a Roth IRA account. Stole this play out of MM33’s playbook too…. LOL!
Yeah, I know. I’m going nuts… Yes, I know. What about fundamentals?…. What fundamentals? irrational exuberance 2.0…
BTW: zynga’s average daily vol is around 10million shares. It’s 1/2hr into trading, and it’s already at 7 million shares. It’s .com days all over again.
February 2, 2012 at 7:05 AM #737231The-ShovelerParticipantThat’s not crazy I will show you crazy,
I just bought QID (also in IRA, it’s the only way to trade!!).
now that’s crazy, Somehow I know I am just going to get steam rolled on that one.
