-Who is demanding that you think only certain thoughts — threatening you with physical violence, the loss of a job, or social ostracism if you venture out of their narrow scope of “acceptable” beliefs?
-Who wants to control where you can go, with whom you can go, when you can go, and under what conditions you can go?

LOL. He said it.
Those who are not brainwashed can discern that he was referring to the ability to move up in position and status; he is not referring to the ability to physically move about.
From that very article:
“Graham then pointed to Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, “the only African American Republican in the country,” he said. Graham also name-dropped “daughter of Indian Americans” Nikki Haley, who is the former governor of South Carolina.
“In South Carolina, folks, it’s not about the color of your skin or where you came from, it’s about your ideas,” Graham continued.”

THIS is why the country is so divided. The establishment and their media hacks have managed to manipulate the thinking of half the population. Please do your own research, read and watch entire video, audio, or text sources. Seek out multiple perspectives from intelligent people who also do their own research if you’re still not sure what to think about a topic. Stop parroting the media. They do not have your best interests at heart.

Disinformation like this does real harm. I don’t want it on this site. Thank you.
Hi Rich. Just saw this now. What, precisely, is the “misinformation” or the “conspiracy theory” that you’re referring to? I’ve linked directly to the organizations’ own videos. I just want to be sure that we can have a clear understanding of the definition of these terms.
The misinformation is right in the title, which suggests that the Covid-19 pandemic was planned. This is an outlandish and dangerous assertion and I’m not even going to engage with it.
I’m not really sure how defining terms will help, but fwiw wikipedia’s definition of conspiracy theory seems pretty good — emphasis mine:
A conspiracy theory is an explanation for an event or situation that invokes a conspiracy by sinister and powerful groups, often political in motivation, when other explanations are more probable.
(In case being discussed here, VASTLY more probable).
I’m afraid you’ve just touched on my hot button issue here, CAR. I think the spread of misinformation is the single biggest threat facing our society, and I just won’t have this website be a part of it. Sorry. There are (unfortunately) plenty of other places on the internet to post this stuff.
If we are not allowed to question the establishment’s narrative, then we are in deep, deep trouble. To believe that the wealthiest and most powerful people in the world don’t conspire to maintain and grow their wealth and power is the height of naivete. It happens every single day.
From the earliest days of this viral outbreak, people in power have been using it for political means. Governments around the world spend billions upon billions of dollars researching bioweapons and gain-of-function mutations. Do people believe they do this because they never intend to use these weapons?
If the goal of our pandemic response were to prevent deaths and health effects of the virus, would a global organization say this? This is what the United Nations has on their own website. [bold is mine…note who has chosen to use a global organizations’ slogan as their US presidential campaign slogan. -CAR]:
“23 March 2020 — The coronavirus pandemic presents an opportunity for the human family to act in solidarity and turn this crisis into an impetus to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
“The United Nations – and our global network of country offices — will support all Governments to ensure that the global economy and the people we serve emerge stronger from this crisis,” said Secretary-General António Guterres in his recent statement, expressing his firm determination to prevent the crisis from derailing sustainable development efforts while laying out a vision for the affected to build back better.”

“Annual bioweapons-related funding for the following departments and agencies from FY2001 to FY2009 is summarized in Table 1: the Departments of Agriculture (USDA), Commerce, Defense (DOD), Energy (DOE), Health and Human Services (DHHS), Homeland Security (DHS), State, Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Science Foundation (NSF), and the United States Postal Service (USPS). Table 1 also includes funding for Project BioShield. As illustrated in Figure 1, annual bioweapons-related spending grew rapidly from FY2001 to FY2004. Excluding Project BioShield and one-time funding for the US Postal Service in FY2005, federal bioweapons-related funding has remained roughly steady at approximately $6.6 billion/year since FY2004.
Cumulative total funding by agency for the entire FY2001 to FY2009 period ($57.02 billion if the FY2009 request is funded in full) is illustrated in Figure 2, with DHHS funding broken down into its constituent agencies and offices (Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH), and the Office of the Secretary (OS). Over 90% of all bioweapons-related funding goes to three lead departments: Health and Human Services, Defense, and Homeland Security (through which Project BioShield is funded).
In contrast to other preparedness efforts, biodefense research, development, testing, and evaluation (RDT&E) can be dual-use in nature: scientific knowledge, methods, and materials that can be used to protect against biological weapons can often also be used to develop biological weapons. The dual-use problem has become a significant national and international policy concern. In the United States, the National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity (NSABB) has been established under the auspices of the NIH, with ex officio representation from 16 Federal departments, agencies, and offices, in order to “provide advice, guidance, and leadership regarding biosecurity oversight of dual use research” to the Secretary of DHHS, the Director of the NIH, and the “heads of all federal departments and agencies that conduct or support life science research.”1Cumulative funding for biodefense RDT&E from FY2001 through FY2009 is nearly $24 billion, over 40% of all bioweapons-related funding since FY2001 (Table 2). Of this, approximately $2.4 billion has thus far been spent, allocated, or requested for improving existing or building at least 20 new high containment research facilities around the country, including 7 new biosafety level 4 (BSL-4) facilities for conducting work on dangerous pathogens such as the Ebola viruses and other hemorrhagic fever viruses. The Departments of Defense and Homeland Security are expected to request up to another $1 billion over the next five years for two of these BSL-4 facilities.”

————–Multiple researchers have suggested that this virus cannot be natural in orgin. Even the MSM has had to reverse their position that it came from a fish market in Wuhan. They now say that it probably did come from a lab, probably from the Wuhan lab, with the only areas of disagreement being whether or not it was manmade or natural in origin, and whether or not the release was accidental or intentional.
Here’s what some of the viral experts have stated:
“Two possibilities should be considered for the origin of SARS-CoV-2: natural evolution or laboratory creation. In our earlier report titled “Unusual Features of the SARS-CoV-2 Genome Suggesting Sophisticated Laboratory Modification Rather Than Natural Evolution and Delineation of Its Probable Synthetic Route”, we disproved the possibility of SARS-CoV-2 arising naturally through evolution and instead proved that SARS-CoV-2 must have been a product of laboratory modification. Despite this and similar efforts, the laboratory creation theory continues to be downplayed or even diminished. This is fundamentally because the natural origin theory remains supported by several novel coronaviruses published after the start of the outbreak. These viruses (the RaTG13 bat coronavirus, a series of pangolin coronaviruses, and the RmYN02 bat coronavirus) reportedly share high sequence homology with SARS-CoV-2 and have altogether constructed a seemingly plausible pathway for the natural evolution of SARS-CoV-2. Here, however, we use in-depth analyses of the available data and literature to prove that these novel animal coronaviruses do not exist in nature and their sequences have been fabricated. In addition, we also offer our insights on the hypothesis that SARS-CoV-2 may have originated naturally from a coronavirus that infected the Mojiang miners.”

https://zenodo.org/record/4073131For the record, that link is to CERN’s data/research repository. It is NOT a “conspiracy theory” site. I mention this because I know that many people will jump to ignorant conclusions rather than actually doing any research.
Additionally, I have personally talked to lab researchers here in SD who have reluctantly agreed, off-the-record, that the chance of this virus being a random, natural virus is very small.
……………Here’s an article about the US government’s use of biological weapons on US citizens 9other governments do the same thing). These were supposedly used for research, not outright warfare. What would it look like if these weapons were used for some type of warfare? Maybe it would cause significant enough damage that people would literally lock down the world.

Rich, you should know by now that I do NOT peddle baseless conspiracy theories. All of my statements regarding these types of issues are well-researched and fact-checked. If I am stating an opinion, I will use “IMHO/IMO” or say, “I believe,” or “some suggest,” etc. If you disagree with something I say, please feel free to push back against it by using facts, data, and logic. Name-calling and ad hominem attacks don’t count.
In this video, Bill Gates and his related organizations (largely funded by him to push his agenda) do a tabletop exercise where a coronavirus pandemic causes widespread global damage and where the key players concern themselves more with “tracking and tracing” and censoring “disinformation” on the internet than they do with discovering the origins of the virus and containing it at its source. This happened on October 2019.
Event 201
“The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security in partnership with the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation hosted Event 201, a high-level pandemic exercise on October 18, 2019, in New York, NY. The exercise illustrated areas where public/private partnerships will be necessary during the response to a severe pandemic in order to diminish large-scale economic and societal consequences.”

Event 201 video:
Of course, this could just be a coincidence. But we have to acknowledge that it might not be a coincidence.
Remember that the “Great Reset” video I had linked to in the first post was produced by the World Economic Forum, who helped put on the Event 201 exercise. In their video, they mention that the coronavirus provides an “unprecedented opportunity” to “advance their global goals.” The UN also states the same thing.

Intelligent, informed people cannot simply wish away the connections between these global organizations whose members represent some of the wealthiest and most powerful people in the world. We can also not ignore the fact that many of these same people have been funding the riots seen in the US since late May. This is not a genuinely socialist movement that advocates for the betterment of the world’s people. It is a plan to centralize wealth and power, with a specific focus on controlling all of the world’s natural resources. I’m not the only one who sees this. Many of the most well-known **leftist** journalists have been sounding the alarm as well.
This is not about “Democrats vs. Republicans.” This fight is between those of us who oppose tyranny and authoritarian control vs. neoliberal and neoconservative corporatist, warmongering, technocratic authoritarian globalist oligarchs. That is why we are seeing the rapid curtailment of our civil liberties — see the list regarding tyranny that I posted above.
October 30, 2020 at 7:22 PM #820054Rich ToscanoKeymasterI don’t even know where to start.
First of all, it’s not that you’re not “allowed to question the establishment’s narrative”. What I don’t want you to do on this site is to spread wildly incorrect, baseless, and dangerous rumors. Not remotely the same thing.
You are actually a good example of the harm that misinformation can do. I know that you are a good and kind person. And yet you have been exposed to such misinformation that you are out there spreading it and making the world a worse place. This misinformation has turned a good person into a force for bad. This needs to stop.
I said I’m not going to engage with this insane “covid was planned” theory and I’m not going to. And yes I did, out of respect for the time you took, read your whole post. But the case you make is totally without merit. Like somehow (as one example) people saying “hey let’s make the best of this bad situation” means that they planned the pandemic. Or Bill Gates having recognized the danger of a potential pandemic, and tried to help the world get prepared for it, is somehow proof that he was in on creating the pandemic. It is totally beyond my comprehension how you or anyone could think this is a remotely reasonable train of thought.
I know you are very smart and a good person. But (I can only guess here) some combination of severe confirmation bias, and the need to see meaning in everything, both fed by the torrent of disinformation on the internet, is causing you to come to conclusions that are nonsensical.
Before you accuse me of being naive and send me more bullshit conspiracy theory youtube videos — don’t. I am not going to engage on this question and I don’t want it here. These baseless lies make the world a worse place and I will not have this site be a part of their spread.
I’m closing down the comments to this ridiculous thread and I don’t want to see anything else like this on this site.
