The first noble truth may not actually be a belief. It may be the truth….
It does feel like our incessant desires for more, more pleasure, more success, more money, and the mind distress it stirs is ultimately is what causes our suffering…
I paid good money at an ivy league school to pick that up and I’m not letting go now

She hungers for the visit. Marks the calendar.
Counts the days.
Finally it gappens.
But it can never really bring full happiness because it us slipping away as it happens . Soon she is looking forward to the next one.
That craving is ultimately unsatisfying. Never will satisfy.
It’s just a ceaseless desire for repute from these desires.
So it us with a great meal, a great vacation. After of even during we realize, this is good but more more more…
We can never be content until we jump off the merry go round if marking our calendar for more and fuller and better.

I’m practicing this. I sleep really well after a day’s work.
I’m remodeling a townhouse now. Picking tiles in Mexico and unloading the truck is very good exercise.
I wear gloves when working so I don’t get ugly hands and dirty finger nails. But working make my hands and fingers strong. I’m pretty satisfied with my studly hands.
