LoL! I think Dave sees some hypocrisy amongst those women who pick and choose the best parts of the traditional and modern social roles for women. And he is trying to draw it out with this post, and have a little fun exposing it.
Dave, the business of financing San Diego businesses must be awfully quiet these days π

Women have all the choices when it comes to relationships, dating etc. Women also get a lot of breaks just because they are viewed as the “weaker” sex (Women and children first etc.).
And yet, all they do is complain 24/7 about how unfair the world is to them.

For married females:Had your husband proposed to you and said that he thought the idea of an engagement ring was silly and a waste of money, would you still have married him? If not, why?[/quote]
Are you kidding? I would have proudly married my husband with a cigar band. Why? Because he is freaking awesome. He’s the precious one; not some silly metal and jewel trinket.
Dave, what are you expecting from this thread? These are piggington women you are addressing here. I know several women here share my detest for shopping, are not materialistic, live frugally, and are good with money. We’d buy our own damn ring if we wanted one. Clearly you don’t know your target audience.
