On Afghanistan, I felt that getting rid of Taliban was enough. Bringing corrupt Karzai in and undertaking nation building was a big mistake.
Brian: Take it from a guy who spent three years in El Salvador during the 1980s doing counterinsurgency work: That ain’t how it works, Bubba.
So, you put the Taliban out of business, right? Then what? We leave? What happens after that?
This is the problem with your fuzzy reasoning, Brian: Too much Utopian thinking and not enough reading of history.

“Yeah, it’s totally got nothing to do with the fringe liberals running the dems.”
We have a Democratic leadership that began HealthCare reform negotiation with already giving away half of what they want.
It is well known Liberals want National Health Care like France or Germany which would save hundreds of billions yet insure all, yet Obama comes up with this half baked plan (that would be o.k, but barely, if it included the OPTIONS)and starts negotiating after giving all the liberal demands away. He may have been a Liberal at one time but he doesn’t seem to be acting like one.
Liberals are very disenchanted with Obama because he is trying to please the losers in the last election.
He will be the loser in the next.

Come on brian, there is no winning. You know that. It was a brain dead failed attempt at keeping the empire going. Obama is the transition guy. The country is bankrupt and coming unglued and Obama will be blamed. You can’t stop it. The rise of the christian/capitalist jihadists has begun and it’s going to be ugly.
Once the dollar goes down, they will be calling for blood.
That’s very scary. I’m scared that you’ll be proved right.
Better think of an exit strategy. Where could I move to?
