Exactly! It only shifts names and methodologies over the centuries. That there is one over-arching conspiracy is true in the abstract and some people make a comic book interpretation of this. Assign a secret society to this tendency, with a secret goal, so forth and so on.

So, Arraya, since that’s the way things have operated for so long, why do you want our current system to collapse? What makes you think that the succeeding system would be any better?
I personally don’t want to get caught in a chaotic transition period of upheaval and poverty.
