No need to look further for a reason why you should not mess with cops. They could kill you in so many different ways.

Or at least mess with them in ways that don’t make them feel threatened, but hurt them all the same. Be slow to do business with them. Do work for them … poorly. Make snide comments to someone walking with you when you pass a cop.
Basically, make their lives a tiny bit less pleasant. Micro-aggressions, as some libs put it, add up.

Libs use the law. Micro aggressions is the conservative way. Look down on families who are ill bred, poorly educated, have bad manners, don’t go to church, who are gay, who are divorced, who do drugs, who are badly dressed, who don’t speak standard English… That’s how conservatives keep people in check since times eternal.
I think that’s the human way. Many liberals look down on midwesterners, conservatives, religious people, abstinent people, etc. Everyone does it, the only question is toward whom.
Yeah, it’s the human way but there’s no moral equivalence.
Some people argue that we don’t need laws to protect people who are different; human decency is enough, they argue. . But the human way is exactly why we need laws.
Plus historically, people who are different don’t look down at the establishment — they try to conform for fear of social penalties and ostracism.
I admire conservatives, religious and abstinent people, etc… as long as they live up to their high standards. I don’t buy the concept that “we are all humans” as an excuse. What’s the point of having high standards if, in the end, one is no better?
You have to give them credit for creativity.
They’re always finding a way to sink even lower:

Jersey City cops caught on video appear to kick, drag a bystander in crash who caught on fire
Pigs. They need to be PERSONALLY prosecuted and sued.
