I really don’t even want to add critique because there is so much wrong it is quite disturbing. I don’t buy the talent line anymore…. In the NFL everyone has talent and the difference lies in the coaching, the gameplan and the execution. We are seriously lacking in all 3 of those categories. As horrid as we played we still had the ball twice in q4 with a 21 17 lead and Norv decided to run a few times into the line, leave rivers with a 3rd and 10 each time and predictably we didn’t convert either time. So yes we sucked today, our d was pathetic, and as bad as it was the coach or offensive coordinator or whoever the hell called the game in q4 sucked even more. Even NAR couldn’t put perfume on this pig.

The most dangerous time in the NFL right now is the NE Patriots. Not only possible to see them go undefeated, but I really believe that they are only going to get better as their talent pool gels and Brady gets more comfy with his new weapons.
And, trust me, as a Raiders fan, that last bit ain’t easy to say.

actually, this probably means i’ll get a couple free tickets tossed my way… who cares about the chargers, i’m down for the dogs and beers and a wasted afternoon…
September 23, 2007 at 7:35 PM #85640larrylujackParticipantthe chargers have Phillip Rivers.
the Bears have bad Rex Grossman, enough said.
no comparison.
September 24, 2007 at 6:12 AM #85665Alex_angelParticipantThe chargers are overhyped, housing is overpriced, gas is over priced, hmmmmmmm. Do you see the pattern?
September 24, 2007 at 9:28 AM #85684ArtifactParticipantIf the Chargers would have hired one of the other coaching candidates – even one with no head coaching record like Singletary – I would be willing to cut them some slack as they adjust to the new coaching scheme. BUT they hired Norv Turner supposedly to help maintain some consistency because he was a coordinator here once. The guy has a losing record as a head coach no matter what team he has been with so I just can’t see any reason to cut them slack –
Hire a losing coach, get a losing team…
