December 14, 2007 at 10:18 AM #116878PCinSDGuestA friend of mine dated a girl that somehow was able to purchase more homes than she could ever afford. She had at least 3 homes, but made about $35k working at Raytheon. I helped her move some of her junk out one of the homes that had been foreclosed on. The house was full of stuff. Partially finished bathroom remodels, new kitchen cabinets, etc. My friend loaded up his truck with a fair amount of tile that was never installed. It was a shame to see the condition of the house – a complete waste. The girl was Philipino, had been talked into these purchases by a Philipino agent who exclusively used a Philipino mortgage broker. It appeared to be quite prevalent in that particular community. She no longer owns any of the homes, but does have a BMW Z3 that she purchased after refinancing one of the homes. Now she rents a condo in El Cajon.
Rustico, that’s funny – I didn’t even see your post. No problemo, anyway. I mainly practice business/contractual litigation. Some of the cases occasionally involve disputes over real estate, but I dont’ specialize in that field.
