Ok so I don’t mean the real estate market, I mean my apt. I was in a fugue and walked out my door closing it behind me and realizing my keys were inside. Luckily my girlfriend has a set. Unluckily she was going to be at work till 2pm. As my incident happened at 11 that gave me some time to kill.
Went to the farmers market in Hillcrest then made a huge loop through University heights and perhaps Normal heights. The final leg was Northpark again to meet up and get back into my hovel. The important thing here is that there weren’t many open houses. Not compared to the number of for sale signs, I mean it is sunday.
I noticed this too. I saw only 3 Open House signs today. Aren’t realtors supposed to give you the impression that they’re trying hard to sell your home?
Perhaps the realtors have caught on, and realize that as long as the price is too high, an Open House won’t matter much.
Actually, realtors host an Open House as a marketing tool to meet potential buyers.
I countless open house signs today (in South Park, North Park, Hillcrest & Mission Hills.) There were so many signs, it was difficult to follow 1 path of signs without accidently following signs to a different open house…
