Some people are hesitant to make clickable links, probably due to some apprehension.
Ok, you guys, it is pretty easy. I will show you how.
When you make links, you enclose them in less-than signs and greater-than symbols, which I will call L and G, and are located above the comma and period, respectively. If I use the actual symbol, the editor think it’s HTML code and doesn’t display it, or turns my example into a link.
So I will use L and G, but you will use the actual symbols, located above the comma and period on the keyboard.
Play around, and hit Preview to make sure the link name is displayed instead of the URL. When you are happy with your work, then Submit.
Why bother with this? Out of courtesy to your reader, so we don’t have to copy/paste the URL, we can open the link in a new window, and to prevent long URLs from making the screen really wide. Also it makes your writing look more professional, and heck, you can tell everyone you learned HTML.
