February 12, 2009 at 9:21 AM #344971NotCrankyParticipantFor the most part protesting for the U.S middle class with backward looking heavily weighted U.S centric views is a waste of time….or it will prove to be sooner or later.Maybe we can have another rally? Sooner or later we will get over that selfish view. Probably only after under the rule of Transnationals , we finally realize “we” are the “them” that we never cared about. If it’s the U.S ascensionist middle class vs. the pigs in the street I am not having any of it. If we are going to think about humanity more broadly let’s “roll”. I guess I am cursed with a “one world” view.
I know this outlook puts me at odds with a very high percentage of Americans. It is pragmatic though, if the humanistic element seems too trite. One has to sympathize with the destruction of promises made to the middle class(sheep) and the confusion now with regard to what the actual system is.I do. I think that the fruits being taken away would never have existed to the extent they do without brutal Imperialism .
What is really problematic is that as our grabbing hands reach out, the government/system has less to offer and what they have exploits more than it aids. We should be careful not to back them into a corner with demands for access to wealth. Super rich crooks should pay but we should be circumspect with what we are asking. Even without the “crisis” it makes sense with globalism , that the American standard or living as reflected in luxury items and lifestyles will take a hit.We are barking up the wrong tree.
I look at he potential bright sides in this.Competition amongst us little people could give way to cooperation. And, although the village may become somewhat fascist at first, those with the bully pulpit would not have the motivation, hopefully, to blow vast potential regions or “markets” to pieces. That is probably too pollyanna, the NWOPTB, will still probably want to marginalize or perhaps exterminate some,or alter populations, for efficiencies sake and of course the good of those who remain.
My fear is that we will have a thoughtless bunch of revolutionary waste driven by habitual greed. Although, it is really cool that the cannucks in Concho’s video caught those cop provocateurs. I am not sure that what I see in those types of middle class protests doesn’t fall into this category.I’ll try to keep an open mind.
