October 3, 2012 at 1:39 PM #752175CoronitaParticipant

Seeing as Rich hasn’t posted in over a month why don’t we turn this into a stock forum? I just bought HP, who thinks I’m crazy? After buying them I learned that when a stock has a Q after it, that means they are in bankruptcy, please someone tell me it doesn’t apply to HP.
HPQ the Q came from old compaq days… HP use to be HP. And Compaq use to be CPQ.
HPQ came as part of the Fiorina compacting..I have very strong opinions about HP…. Imho HP lost it’s only chance to survive when it dumped Hurd and he subsequently went to Oracle..
FWIW: http://piggington.com/ot_wow_hp
Stock is trading off more than 50% since it was discussed.Meg is not going to be able to turn this anchor around… Just look at the numbers. Oracle posted theirs today… Looked great. HP…meh!…
In a few years, Oracle is going to look cheap… They own so much of the backend now, it’s not even funny. Part of the reason why I got out of backend enterprise systems development.. I would buy in, if it wasn’t for the fact that they kinda torpedoed so many of my colleague’s companies.
BTW: if I had to pick between HP of today or Agilent (what was part of HP before), definitely Agilent is the way to go….
Meg is gonna drive this company into the ground….

Best buy is up close to 12%. What are you gonna do?
Btw I am selling lly today @53.20.
Holding onto armh and nxpi for now. Can’t believe arm is over 40 now and nxpi is pretty close to 30.January 11, 2013 at 9:11 AM #757528anParticipant
AN.

I actually sold awhile back to buy AAPL $515 Feb call. So I missed out this 11-13% run. But that’s OK, you win some you lose some. I still have my NOK from $2.8x though, so I love the 18%+ increase yesterday.January 14, 2013 at 12:16 PM #757690CoronitaParticipant

AN.

January 15, 2013 at 10:46 PM #757786CoronitaParticipantI have my eyes on Boeing right now… A couple of more grounded 787’s should knock the stock down a bit…
Man, kinda terrible news that every few days we hear about another 787 being grounded…
Not much confidence building feeling like you’re boarding a Beta airplane.

I was thinking about Boeing myself. But looking at its stock… it hasn’t gone down even with all the bad news.January 16, 2013 at 6:32 AM #757793CoronitaParticipant

I have my eyes on Boeing right now… A couple of more grounded 787’s should knock the stock down a bit…
