SK in CV
ParticipantTrend has been up for 6 months or so. The neighborhood those two homes are in had a big drop off beginning about 18 months ago as i recall. Then prices picked up again but still way below where they were. The Winstanley house was on the high side, but not outrageously so. Consistent with the upward trend. The Wyngate house was very high, but has a stunning view that probably added $200,000 to the sales price.

ParticipantHaving watched very closely, I agree with what SK says. The turn up started a while back.
In my opinion, if it’s going to “turn” any direction now, it will probably be down.

ParticipantMany thanks for the replies.
I will be in the market to buy within the next 12 months or so and will continue to watch with interest. Will these increases also push rental prices up? We are starting to look for a house to rent in that area with a decision sometime before the end of September.
