I’m glad someone else is finally wanting to actively talk about RE and rentals, and NOT about cars, politics, relationships etc. (ok, I’m sorry about the previous car(s) posting. I was really waiting for someone to talk about RE).
I want to know this also.
My understanding is that the records are available from the county clerk’s site recording trustee events, etc (but might not be current). You can drive down there or go here and order it (costs a few bucks)

Anyone else got a less hard way, I’m all ears too.
You can search based on name, keeping in mind property is often under a trust’s name instead of the individual(s) owner. Best way to figure out the exact name(s) on the title is to do a property tax search on the address using

June 17, 2008 at 4:52 PM #224252nostradamusParticipantYes the treastax site is very useful. People are often surprised at how much info I can find about them. I tell them the names on their title, how much they paid and when they bought, the assessed property value, whether their tax installments are up to date, and then I laugh maniacally like Dr. Evil (with the back-of-my-pinky-finger-to-mouth hand gesture). That’s usually when they slam the door. π
What I really want to find out is who the lender is.
