I don’t think we’re seeing the worst of it yet. Of the SD sights the 1st three are Encanto, Otay Mesa, and “East” SD. I wonder if they are minority (or in CA–majority) related. The 4th one listed for SD is Mira Mesa!!! 187 foreclosures!
In semi-related news two companies which I consult for just announced layoffs in SD but hopefully it just means a few hundred engineers & techies are going to take some time off for a few days.

CoronitaParticipantI would say it has to do with income levels of those zip codes rather than ethnicity. Temecula and Murrieta are on there too.
So is oceanside (as I suspect it would have been).Other interesting areas

Look at these weak March through May employment figures for San Diego; a steady downward trend in the seasonally adjusted figures:

ParticipantThe most interesting thing I saw in the report were the actual foreclosure counts. Four of the top five are in Cleveland but #6 is our very own North Oceanside up by the back gate (92057).

There are 170 detached sfr active listings from 289k-1,950,000(a few are from shadow zips). 147 condo listings with the high end shy of 500KIt is more or less a hybrid of urban and suburban with mostly older to very old housing stock.
