First date kiss?

Don’t dwell on this at all. Ask her out again. If she wants to go out with you again, she’s interested. If not, or if she makes excuses and blows you off, forget about it and move on, simple as that. There are a LOT of flakes in this world, but everyone has their own standards, morals, cultures, etc. so just because she didn’t kiss you doesn’t mean she’s not interested or she doesn’t want to… Only the return phone call will tell if she is truly interested, and there are a lot of flakes out there, so if she flakes out or plays games with you, move on and go meet someone else.

The sad part is that I read all 5 pages of that other thread and will probably go back for more, against my better judgment…

Onto a personal observation: hugs are usually acceptable on a first date, especially if there’s an open understanding of the meaning of the date. The more body contact you get out of the hug the better the chances you’ll be able to get off a quick smooch without crossing the ‘line’.
