Participanti think it boils down to some people like to paint their own picture on a blank canvas and some people would rather hang Monet reproductions. Its just a matter of taste. For some the trouble is worth it or maybe half the fun to create your own place from scratch including landscaping and some would just like to be done with it.

ParticipantI agree Dave, probably has a lot to do with time and budget as well. Not everyone has the time to oversee and major remodel or the budget to undertake a big landscaping project.

haha, hit the nail right on the head. contractors are like teenagers that never grew up. they do need constant and close supervision. and if you end up with a new house on 1/2 acre of dirt, that’s a whole lot of supervision.
