Family Planning = abortion
Cost control = care based on a persons position on the productivity curve
Late term abortion = make sure they are dead before they hit the landfill
Hospice = painkillers ’til they die, on the cheapThese are the liberal Dems.- Culture of death
Wow – I hope you never have a close family member deal with N-stage cancer. It changes your view of hospice.August 9, 2009 at 6:59 PM #443158UCGalParticipant
Family Planning = abortion

but Obama has a point in that healthcare as it stands will ultimately bankrupt this country. the only question would be how fast.
so what does a patriotic minority party do? it works with the administration make sure this bill would bring us in the right direction.
but instead, we got this massive right wing campaign spreading rumors and frightening the elderly just so this whole thing would die, figuring that if this bill dies then the Obama presidency would go along with it.
Unfortunately THE Republican Strategy for the next 4 years is shaping up to be: Let’s hope the Dems fail.

OCR: Let’s take one single meeting on healthcare and subject it to some level of scrutiny, okay?
What was Billy Tauzin, a former legislator and now lobbyist for the largest pharma group in the country, doing having a back room, undisclosed meeting with the President? Back up a few years and ask what would have happened if ExxonMobil had a back room, undisclosed meeting with Dubya over a new energy program?
While I’m the first to admit that simply being obstructionist is not the answer, I think certain Republicans (and Democrats) now realize that this is a flawed program and the President and Congress aren’t exactly on the same sheet in the hymn book.
Yes, the healthcare system as presently run is not the answer. However, I’m not entirely sure that Obamacare is, either. Asking for diligence and deliberation isn’t obstructionist or un-patriotic, it’s prudent.
