How do you find out if the owner of your rental has NOD, NOT, Trustee sale?? Is there a public website you can just input the address?
How about the last sales date & price?
. Second important lession. Make sure the owner will not have a Trustee Sale on February 27. Nice guy, timing got him.

I was under the impression that in PQ you really don’t need the A/C because of the coastal breeze – some told me that, and I found it surprising. I understand saying that in La Jolla/UTC where I live – but that far inland, do you get enough of a breeze?!
You absolutely DO need the A/C in PQ. Not continuously, but it gets totally unliveable during heat waves without one.

February 11, 2009 at 12:42 PM #344556ScarlettParticipantHow about the PQ area around Adolphia/Pipilo/Salmon River? How are the houses/yards/people? (Note: we definitely do not want a pool, and it seems that it was in fashion at the time (70s-80s) many houses in PQ were built.
We saw there some houses around there that were just under $600K, which is our limit. Park village, though very nice, is currently a bit out of range for us. That’s not to say it couldn’t fall enough to get into our price range.February 11, 2009 at 12:42 PM #344878ScarlettParticipantHow about the PQ area around Adolphia/Pipilo/Salmon River?
