ParticipantI have a client in escrow on a PQ REO property. It was already listed below the comps, we lowballed, negotiated hard to get it even lower and got credits. You speak authoratively about things you have no clue about which is what makes you so dangerous to the posters around here.

Participant
The garage is not fully detached or detachable- it was weird how most but not all the walls were planks painted over.
Correct me if I’m wrong, Scarlett, but the Ramsay/Haworth garage looked attached, to me (from the listing photo).
Scarlett, prior to the mid-60’s, ALL garages in this area of CA were built with redwood or cedar planks. I could take an educated guess that half or more of them have never been finished with drywall, like you would see in newer construction. This makes it easier to see possible termite infestations.

ParticipantYes BG I know. That’s why in general I don’t find what I want in UC in my price range. I am not asking any lender for credit. I don’t have my hopes high for getting my lowball offer accepted either. Just a chance, since we were there. Can’t hurt. Like I said, it’s highly UNlikely I’d get something I want at the price I can afford in UC.
That’s RIGHT. I have to live in the property, not you.
